Data of 53 million Facebook users are in danger

Recently, a report has come out, from which information has been received that there has been a big breach in the data of Facebook users. Hackers have stolen the data of about 53 crores of Facebook users. This includes personal details of Facebook users such as email IDs, phone numbers. Alon Gal, the co-founder of Israeli cybercrime intelligence firm Hudson Rock, said on Saturday that Facebook linked telephone number data has circulated in hackers' circles since January this year.

This data was first spotted by Tech Publication Motherboard. Some data from Facebook users are being sold for a few euros. It sold on the familiar site of hackers. According to the motherboard story, earlier this year Facebook said that the data leak was caused by a bug, which was fixed by Facebook in August 2019.

But Gal quoted the news agency Reuters as saying that Facebook users should be wary of social engineering attacks that have acquired Facebook user data and phones. In such a situation, Facebook users should be careful. This type of attack can become a big issue of users' security concerns.
