Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace Review: Volkswagen's premium SUV in every sense
Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace Road Test Review. Whenever it comes to the premium SUV segment, only the select options in the market are remembered. In these selections, Volkswagen's car Tiguan All space has made a significant place. Last year, the company updated this car and made it more special, and launched it as Tiguan All space. Clearly, the name suggests All Space. We got a chance to drive this car that lived up to its name. After traveling about 800 km at the end of the week, we have brought for you a road test review of this car. So let's tell if Volkswagen's All Space is better than other SUVs in the market, Fortuner, and Endeavor, and if yes how.
How it looks on the road:
When you take the Tiguan Allspace out on the road, it attracts people's attention. The car has a length of 4,821 mm height of 1,839 mm and a width of 1,674 mm. Which is 215mm longer than its older model. Due to which a good space is found in its third row. Looking at the car from the front, there are many things that give it the appeal of a premium SUV. A wide grille at the front, 18-inch alloy wheels with LED headlamps, and daytime running lights enhance the look.
However, it is a combination of many such things, which were also given in the old Tiguan model. The finishing of chrome is provided on the lower with the tailgate provided in the rear. At the same time, the rear overhead in the side profile has been made larger than before. Which perfectly reflects its 7-seater look. Overall the design is equipped with a premium fit and finish. Which gives a very clean total.
A luxurious feel interior:
The cabin of the Tiguan Allspace has a completely black dashboard. In which the instrument cluster has now been digitized. The longer you travel in one go, the more comfortable you will feel in the seats. On the other hand, a large glass screen enhances visibility. Other features of the cabin include a digital driver display, connected car tech, panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, auto adjustable front seats, ABS, a rearview camera, cruise control, reclining second-row backseat, front hit seats, 8-inch Touchscreen system, powered tailgate, etc. Along with this, as a safety features company, Tiguan provides all airspace with seven airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill descent control, etc.
How was the journey in the second and third rows:
Those sitting on the rear seat of the car can easily travel long in the comfort zone, in the second row you get charging points and AC vents. You can also adjust the rear seats according to your legroom. Which has a tray folder and a large window for the rear passenger. Also, the panoramic sunroof reaches the middle row easily. That is, people sitting back can take advantage of this feature. Even though my height is more than 5'7, I traveled for a long time sitting on the rear seat of this car. In which I had no problem.
Talk about the third row, it is a 7-seater car, as we told you that the company has increased its length compared to the old model, so its effect can be seen in the third row. In the third RAW, the glass area is quite good. However, your height should not be too high to fit in the third row. To sit on the third row, one has to resort to the seat of the second row and to sit back and push it from the seat of the second row. In total, two people can fit in this row as well. It will be better if you have children. Since you can definitely travel in coordination with the Middle Row Passenger.
1274 liters can be increased by increasing the boot space:
The car's boot space can be increased from 230 liters to 1274 liters by folding the rear seats. If three to four people leave on a long journey, they can fiercely fill their belongings, while if the family is a bit bigger, then the boot space may have to be compromised. Through its twist, you can change them according to your mood and road. This includes Normal, Comfort, and Sports diversions. Which control steering and handling perfectly. While driving the car longer, we have a mileage of between 11 and 13kmpl at a speed of 90 to 100kmph, which means that if you use it between 50 and 60kmph, it will not disappoint you in mileage either.
Volkswagen Tiguan All Space: Engine Specs:
The 7-seater Tiguan AllSpace has been made available only for sales with petrol engines. In this, you get a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, which generates 190PS of power at 4200rpm and 320Nm of torque at 1500-1400rpm. This unit is paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission option. The all-wheel-drive (AWD) system and turns found in the car enhance its driving experience. The handling of the car does not bother you at all. People sitting inside do not feel the bumpy way outside. Along with this, paddle shifters have also been provided in the vehicle, with the help of which you can operate the gear manually.
Volkswagen Tiguan All Space: Price and Conclusion:
Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace is priced at Rs. 33.24 lakh ex-showroom. In the Indian car market, it competes with vehicles like Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor. Although we have driven these cars, we have come to our conclusion that if you want a luxury feel and a powerful SUV too, then you can go with this car.
