BMW X1 Facelift Review: now already More sporty and luxurious

Talking about sales of luxury car companies, the entry-level luxury. SUV segment is one of the most important segments in India. BMW X1 Facelift ~ Looks and Design:

It now has a large kidney grille and it also reminds of its elder brothers X5, X6, and X7. Although you get a lot of chrome on the grille in those big SUVs, you get to see painted silver vertical slats on the grille of the X1, they don't look so premium, but they look decent.

• Talking about other changes, you get a new front bumper and this time the fog lamp has a positioning side, horizontal LED strips, and redesigned LED headlamps.

• Looking at the full profile, the updated X1 looks pretty much the same as before and the 17-inch wheels in this sDrive20d xLine variant give it a completely sporty look. Talking about changes in the rear, it gets updated LED tail-lamps, updated bumpers, and a few big exhaust tips.

BMW X1 Facelift ~ INTERIOR:

Speaking of the entire design and cabin layout of the. BMW X1, is the same as before, the feel, fit and finish are the same. But with the change, there are some small-moto changes as well, including the first 8.8-inch touchscreen iDrive infotainment system and it is much more premium, especially when it comes to connectivity, you can connect Apple CarPlay wirelessly to the car.

• You will not get Android Auto in this unit, only Apple CarPlay has been given. It is worth noting that this is not the latest version of the infotainment system, which you get to see in the Z4 and 3 series.

• The second biggest change is the panoramic sunroof, which is now much larger.

BMW X1 Facelift ~ Driving:

Exterior and interior changes can be visible to us, but it is very difficult to find out what changes are there inside the bonnet. BMW X1 has given the same 2-liter petrol and diesel engine as before. Yes, the BS6 is an engine and what we drove is the sDrive20d variant that comes with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine.

This engine generates 190hp power and 400Nm torque. There has been no change in its power output as compared to the. BS4 model, but the pollution level has been reduced due to diesel particulate filter and selective catalyst reduction. The sound and refinement level of the engine is now much better than before. The power delivery of the engine is much better and during the run in the cabin, you do not know that you are driving a diesel engine.

You can easily drive it even in traffic. And if you are using the paddle shifters as soon as you apply the. Sport mode, then you will not feel any lack of turbo in the. X1 and it seems to be very fast. The 8-speed automatic gearboxes work quite well. You can catch 0 to 100 kmph within 8 seconds.
